Are You Certified?

Yes. Dean Medley and all resume writers at Medley Employment Consulting are Certified Professional Resume Writers (CPRW) and members of the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches (PARWCC). 

How many years of experience do you have?

With almost 30 years of overall business management experience and 20 years in the staffing industry, Dean Medley specializes in career services, resume writing services, cover letters, personality assessments, interviewing skills, LinkedIn profile makeovers, and more.

What services do you offer, including prices? Do your services include job search strategy or interview preparation?

Knowing what services you are supposed to receive is important.  Historically, many consulting services do not communicate this well.  We at Medley Employment Consulting strive for transparency and have taken special efforts to communicate the services and prices in the Pricing section of our website.  Pricing is based on your experience level and what you need.  The value of our services to you is the most important thing to us because we want to make sure that when we are done – you are completely satisfied.   

What happens next during or after the free intake meeting?

Once you determine which service package best suits your needs, you will be able to access our writing operations software platform.  This top-rated software program is designed to be user-friendly and help you track every part of this process.  It is also helpful because everything is managed together in one place. Once you submit your payment, you will be required to sign an agreement, and then you are strongly encouraged to load any materials, old resumes, job descriptions and any other files you believe would be helpful for us.  The software will also ask you to answer some additional questions on a questionnaire.  We are also excited about the chat function where we can communicate within the software as needed.  You will also be notified when your new resume is uploaded and revisions to your resume can be requested and/or submitted on this platform.   Notwithstanding the above, we are also available in-person to discuss and/or answer questions during this process.

Once I have provided the needed information, when can I expect to receive it?

The average duration for a resume writing project is 3-5 business days upon receiving the information needed. However, if your circumstances warrant a quicker turnaround, we encourage you to make us aware during the intake process so that a mutually beneficial deadline can be established. 

Who will handle my resume? How is that determined?

Medley Employment Consulting has a select team of Certified Professional Resume Writers that will be working together on writing and delivering your resume and other materials as requested.  Resume writing projects are complex, specifically tailored to the customer, and involve unique skills to complete.  Resultantly, Medley Employment Consulting leverages the combined expertise of an experienced team to provide you with a high-quality resume.  This team process also has been found incredibly helpful to help identify and address errors and prevent us from submitting work to you that contains inaccuracies.

Will all the content be original?

Yes.  Other low-cost firms typically rely on software and pre-written templates to construct resumes. These templates utilize generic keywords and phrases that are common to specific professions. While this makes their process easy for them, it is less than ideal for you as your resume will blend in with dozens of other candidates as opposed to standing out from the crowd. At Medley Employment Consulting, you can be assured that your resume will be original and specific to you and your background.
